On the opening night for Twenty One Pilots Bandito Tour. I’m staying in AirBNB just outside of the gulch areas of downtown Nashville, listening to the lawn mower do its job on the huge field outside my window.
The shower is going and I’m looking for the motivation to get out of bed and start the day.
We spent yesterday driving down from Columbus through the rain via Kentucky. Ended up driving through Lexington because there was supposed to be a big crash. We listened to Waze a few times and I’m not sure it did us a good job. It took about 7 hours to get to Nashville, but we made it.
We listened to the new Trench album on the way down, wondering which songs are going to be played tonight. It’s a really solid album.
Twenty One Pilots are from the same area of Columbus as where we live and we run into some of their family and people associated with the band from time to time. They are really having a good run of it. It will be fun watching them perform tonight.
Took in some dinner at Taco Mamacita, which was really good.
Picked up the rest of our party at the airport and got an early night.
Not sure what we are doing today, but doors are at 5:30. I think we’ll be hitting Thirdman Records and a guitar store that are near where we are staying.
AHA, there you are Thirdman Records! Pity Jack is on tour 🙂
